I just bought a 22 oz Yankee Candle and I have a jar warmer that it would fit into; how long will the scent last before it wears out? I don’t want to use it up quickly – I would just burn the candle as originally intended if it will last longer. Anybody know?

This will sound crazy but it works when not using candles put them in the freezer they last longer this way…honest it works ☺
Dont use the warmer. I did with my Yankee candle, it took hours for the wax to burn enough to produce a scent, and each time you want to use it, you start over, leaving it melt for many hours before it puts out a scent. Then the candle is ruined because the wick is gone. Just burn it normally, keep in fridge until ready to burn, it will last longer. NEVER blow out the candle.
I love Yankee candles and burn them until the wick will light no more and THEN put them with the remaining wax in the jar on the warmer. Depending on how much wax is left in the bottom the scent lasts an additional 2-3 weeks. Then I pour out the remaining wax and make little wax tarts for my popurri burner and although the scent is fainter, I get about a week or so more from the tart.
My experience is you use the soy based candles, the scent lingers longer and it burns longer and with less soot, even if it says burn time is 8 hours, the scent would linger for almost the whole day, also I found that scent lingers longer when the room is cool, so try to place your candles around cooler part of the room. Yankee candles are wonderful and their scent last until the jar is empty. If you put the whole jar in the warmer you may cause the whole jar of wax to melt there by not being able to use it as a candle. I would set it on a decorative plate then light it. They now have little tin plates you can put on top of the candle jar to keep the candle from smoking too much. These can usually be found at a candle shop or where you bought your candle. I use only Yankee candles as they have a scent that lasts the longest. I do believe that Yankee Candles does have their own website. It is yankeecandle.com
