Good quality and solid construction. Not bent or broken upon arrival. Worked like any normal good quality ear candle. Would recommend.

LeBlanc, who wrote an earlier review, did readers a disservice. I’ve never heard of anyone trying to candle their own ears! It should ALWAYS be done by someone else who has been carefully trained.

I had a very safe, successful experience with ear coning, conducted by a trained professional. Not only a great deal of ear wax was removed (and it was from the ear, judging from the color and odor,) but also white, powdery yeast. One ear produced a lot of wax, the other didn’t. But both contained yeast.

I’ve seen instructions vary re angle of the ear candle from one candle manufacturer to another. Some, unlike White Egret, recommend cleaning out the condle/cone with a skewer (included in the package when ordered by EarConingWorks.com) each time the candle wax from the flaming end is trimmed. This was clearly helpful, as the ear wax, drawn up the cone, blocks the downward flow of smoke unless it’s reamed out. As I had my positive experience with earconingworks products, which come with the skewer, that’s what I’d recommend.
