Poured Candle

If I were to make a normal wax candle…or ice candle…and poured it into a self drying clay mould…?

…would anything happen to it…

Any rigid mold has to be made in sections to allow the candle to release without breaking the candle or mold. I think you would have more freedom if you made your model in soft clay (modeling clay, Plasticine), painted the model with layers of latex to make a soft detailed mold then backed the latex with plaster of paris to provide shape support.
